Oxford-Bellevue Ferry (Oxford)

Watkins Regional Park

Features the Chesapeake Carousel, an authentic, hand-carved and restored turn-of-the-century Dentzel carousel, miniature train ride, putt-putt golf and playground. Fee for rides and putt-putt golf.

C&O Canal Towpath

The C&O Canal began as an early transportation roadway. Today it remains a natural and recreational treasure. Hiking and biking on the towpath is a great way to enjoy the parkland. A National Park Service National Underground Railroad Network to Freedom site.

Spocott Windmill

Colonial Cottage (c. 1800) with Civil War history, Victorian schoolhouse (c. 1868), country store and museum WWII (c. 1941-1945). Restored blacksmith shop.

Old Wye Grist Mill and Museum

This 18th-century grist mill was built in 1682 and ground flour for General Washington's troops during the American Revolution. Grindings: Grindings are the 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.

Seneca Creek State Park

Opportunities for hiking, biking, fishing, and picnicking. 27-hole disc golf course, boat rentals, live animals, tire playground and historic sites. Free entry Monday through Friday.
