Ballet Embody is Maryland’s premiere contemporary ballet company located in Carroll County. Co-founded in 2019 by Emily Runkle and Melissa Lineburg, Ballet Embody produces original classical and contemporary works.

Far Eastern Shore Winery

Family-owned, boutique micro-winery located on the Eastern Shore. Features non-traditional fruit-grape wine blends.

Gaithersburg-Washington Grove Fire Museum

The museum includes a restored Diamond-T 1941 pumper, as well as helmets, uniforms, badges, department logs, radios and other items dating back to 1920s.

Old Town Historical Toll Bridge

The only privately owned toll bridge in Maryland. In Old Town, you will have the opportunity to cross the toll bridge for $1.50; constructed in 1937.

Matthew Henson Plaque
